Common questions about ordering, materials, and handling.
What exactly am I buying?
An analytical reference material: a lyophilized peptide reference standard in a sealed vial, supplied for in-vitro laboratory research. It is not a drug, supplement, food, cosmetic, or medical device, and it is not for human or veterinary use.
Do you provide preparation or usage guidance?
No. We do not supply preparation, dilution, or administration guidance with any material, and our support team cannot provide it on request. Experimental design and handling are the receiving laboratory's responsibility.
What does the certificate cover?
Every lot will be submitted to an independent analytical laboratory and tested for identity, purity (%) and quantity per vial (mg). Each lot's certificate will be published by lot number. The certificate names the laboratory, the report number and the report date.
How should I store it?
Storage figures for the sealed vial are published on each product page — long-term and short-term temperature, light protection, and transit stability. These describe the vial as supplied.
How fast do orders ship?
Orders placed by 3:00 PM ET Monday to Thursday, or by 2:00 PM ET on Friday, ship the same business day, from Florida, by USPS or UPS Priority Mail or an equivalent 2–3 day service. Orders placed after the cutoff, or on a weekend or carrier holiday, ship the next business day. Estimated transit is 2–3 business days after dispatch. We ship within the United States only. How will the charge appear on my statement?
Charges appear on your statement as BOUND RESEARCH.
How do promotions work?
One discount applies per order: when more than one could apply, the largest is used. The welcome code can be used once per researcher account. Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
Can I return a vial?
You can cancel an order any time before it ships for a full refund — email support@boundbio.com with your order number. Sealed, unopened vials may be returned within 3 days of delivery. Opened or altered materials are not eligible for return or replacement, and we do not refund for change of mind. Damage or shortage in transit must be reported within 3 days of delivery with photographs of the vial and packaging as received; approved claims are replaced or refunded. Who can order?
Purchasers must be 21 years of age or older and acquiring materials for legitimate laboratory research purposes. We may request verification of research credentials or institutional affiliation at any time, and may decline or cancel any order.
