Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to boundbio.com and your purchase of products from Bound Research LLC.

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your access to boundbio.com and your purchase of products from Bound Research LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as BoundBio ("BoundBio," "we," "us"). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Age and capacity

By accessing this website you confirm that you are at least 21 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are acting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

Eligibility

Products are offered solely to qualified researchers, laboratory professionals, and organizations engaged in legitimate scientific research.

We may request verification of research credentials, institutional affiliation, or intended research application at any time, before or after an order is placed. Orders may be held pending verification. We reserve the right to approve or decline any customer or order at our sole discretion, and to cancel an order at any point prior to shipment.

Nature of the products

All materials sold by BoundBio are analytical reference materials supplied for in-vitro laboratory research. By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Materials are supplied strictly for laboratory research use
  • Materials are not for human or veterinary consumption, and are not for diagnostic, therapeutic, cosmetic, or food use
  • Materials are not drugs, dietary supplements, or medical devices
  • Materials are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
  • No statement on this website has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration
  • Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice, dosing guidance, preparation instructions, or any recommendation for use in a human or animal
  • BoundBio is a chemical and laboratory supply merchant. It is not a pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, or outsourcing facility as defined under Sections 503A or 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
  • You are responsible for compliance with all laws applicable to your purchase, possession, handling, storage, use, and disposal of these materials

Certificates of analysis

Each production lot will be submitted to an independent analytical laboratory. When testing of a lot is complete, its certificate will be published in our archive under the lot number printed on the vial.

A certificate of analysis documents the identity and purity of a material as tested, at the time of testing. It is a quality-control record. It is not a regulatory approval, it does not certify fitness for any particular application, and it does not warrant that composition or purity will remain unchanged after delivery. Storage, handling, and conditions after the material leaves our custody are outside our control and outside the scope of any certificate.

Orders, pricing, and payment

You agree to pay the prices in effect at the time your order is placed and authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the full amount. All prices are in USD. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices may change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.

Payment is processed by third-party payment providers. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.

Shipping

Orders placed by 3:00 PM ET Monday to Thursday, or by 2:00 PM ET on Friday, ship the same business day. Orders placed after the cutoff, or on a weekend or carrier holiday, ship the next business day. We do not dispatch on weekends.

We ship within the United States only. Shipments go by USPS or UPS, using Priority Mail or an equivalent 2–3 day service as the standard service.

All orders ship from Florida.

Estimated transit is 2–3 business days after dispatch. Transit times are estimates, not guarantees; carrier delays are outside our control.

Standard shipping is a flat $12 per order. Orders of $200 or more ship free. All prices are in USD.

Materials ship sealed and tracked. Each shipment records the lot number of every vial it contains. Lyophilized material is stable at ambient temperature for the duration of standard transit and does not require cold packing.

Risk of loss passes on delivery of the shipment to the carrier. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. You are responsible for ensuring the materials you order may lawfully be received at your delivery address.

Returns and replacements

You can cancel an order any time before it ships for a full refund — email support@boundbio.com with your order number.

Sealed, unopened vials may be returned within 3 days of delivery. Write to support@boundbio.com with your order number before sending anything back; we will confirm the return reference and address. A returned vial must arrive sealed and undamaged to be accepted. Return shipping is paid by the customer. No restocking fee applies.

Opened vials cannot be returned. Once a seal is broken, material integrity can no longer be verified, and a returned vial cannot be relisted. Materials that have been opened or altered are not eligible for return or replacement.

Damage or shortage in transit must be reported within 3 days of delivery, with photographs of the vial and the packaging as received, to support@boundbio.com. Approved claims are replaced or refunded.

We do not refund for change of mind. Returns are limited to sealed, unopened vials within the window above, and to damage or shortage in transit.

We are not responsible for improper storage or handling after delivery. Published storage figures describe the sealed vial as supplied.

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of the return being approved, to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post it.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use this website for any unlawful purpose
  • Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliation
  • Resell or redistribute materials without our written authorization
  • Use materials in any manner inconsistent with laboratory research use
  • Discuss, solicit, promote, or engage in human or veterinary dosing, administration, or preparation of any material purchased from us — whether through this website, our customer support channels, social media, or any other channel
  • Represent, label, market, or offer any material purchased from us as suitable for human consumption, veterinary use, or therapeutic application
  • Interfere with the operation or security of this website, or access it by automated means

Violation of any provision of this section — and in particular any solicitation or discussion of human or veterinary dosing — may result in immediate cancellation of pending orders, termination of your account, and a permanent bar from purchasing, at our sole discretion. We may retain records of any such communication.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, decline any order, and refuse further access at any time and at our sole discretion, including for violation of these Terms, suspected misuse of materials, failure to provide requested verification, or any conduct we determine to be harmful to our business or to the lawful operation of our catalog. Termination does not relieve you of obligations that survive under these Terms, including indemnification.

Manufacturing and testing partners

Bound Research LLC does not manufacture, synthesize, formulate, or fill any material, and does not own or operate a manufacturing facility. Materials are produced by independent third-party manufacturers, and any testing is performed by independent third-party analytical laboratories. Descriptions of production, purification, or fill processes on this website refer to processes performed by those parties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any act, omission, defect, or error attributable to a manufacturing partner, supplier, or testing laboratory, including manufacturing or fill defects, contamination, mislabeling, or variance in purity, identity, or composition. Certificates of analysis are prepared by independent laboratories and provided as-is. Your remedies for any product issue are limited to those set out in these Terms.

Assumption of risk

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR PURCHASE, POSSESSION, HANDLING, STORAGE, AND USE OF ANY MATERIAL SUPPLIED BY BOUNDBIO IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THESE ARE RESEARCH CHEMICALS INTENDED SOLELY FOR IN-VITRO LABORATORY USE. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THESE MATERIALS, INCLUDING RISK ARISING FROM IMPROPER STORAGE, HANDLING, CONTAMINATION, DEGRADATION, MISUSE, OR ANY APPLICATION OF A MATERIAL TO A HUMAN OR ANIMAL, AND YOU WAIVE ALL CLAIMS AGAINST BOUNDBIO ARISING FROM SUCH USE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE WEBSITE AND ALL MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT MATERIALS WILL MEET YOUR RESEARCH REQUIREMENTS OR PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT, THAT PURITY OR COMPOSITION WILL REMAIN UNCHANGED AFTER DELIVERY, OR THAT INFORMATION ON THIS WEBSITE IS COMPLETE OR CURRENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOUND RESEARCH LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS WEBSITE OR ANY MATERIAL PURCHASED FROM US, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOST PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC MATERIAL GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bound Research LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, action, damage, loss, liability, judgment, settlement, fine, penalty, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use, misuse, or handling of any material purchased from us, including any injury, illness, death, or property damage resulting from administration or application of a material to a human or animal
  • Any statement, claim, or representation you make to any third party regarding our materials, including health claims, dosing recommendations, or instructions for human or animal use
  • Any advertising, marketing, social media content, review, or testimonial you create or publish referencing our materials, whether as a customer, affiliate, or otherwise
  • Your violation of these Terms, including Section 9
  • Your violation of any law or third-party right in connection with your purchase, possession, use, or distribution of materials
  • Any regulatory action, investigation, or enforcement proceeding brought against us as a result of your conduct, statements, or use of materials

This obligation survives termination. We may assume exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification at your expense, and you may not settle any such matter without our written consent.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the extent litigation is permitted, proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Privacy and your information

Our collection and use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated here by reference.

Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect on posting. The version in effect at the time of your order governs that order; we retain a record of the Terms version accepted at checkout.

Severability, waiver, entire agreement

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Returns policy, Shipping policy, and Research Use Only statement, constitute the entire agreement between you and BoundBio. No statement by any employee or agent through support, email, or any other channel modifies these Terms unless set out in a written amendment signed by an authorized officer.
