Our position on what these materials are, why we sell them the way we do, and what we require of purchasers.
The standard
Every material we supply is an analytical reference material for in-vitro laboratory research. That is not a formality attached to a product sold for another purpose — it is what the material is, how it is cataloged, how it is described, and who it is sold to.
What we do not publish
We deliberately do not provide, anywhere on this site or through support:
- Preparation, reconstitution, or dilution guidance
- Administration or route information of any kind
- Any claim about an effect in a human or animal
- Testimonials or accounts of personal use
- Guidance on combining materials
Support cannot provide these on request either. Experimental design belongs to the receiving laboratory.
Purchaser verification
Entry to this site requires confirming that you are 21 years of age or older and are acquiring materials for laboratory research use only. Checkout requires a separate affirmation, recorded with the order. We may request verification of research credentials, institutional affiliation, or intended research application at any time, and may decline or cancel any order.
Lot traceability
Every vial carries a lot number. Every lot will be submitted to an independent analytical laboratory and tested for identity, purity (%) and quantity per vial (mg). Each lot's certificate will be published by lot number. Every order records the lot or lots that shipped, so any lot can be traced to every customer who received it — which is what makes recall and complaint handling possible rather than theoretical.
Reporting a problem
Report any complaint, quality concern, or adverse event involving a material to support@boundbio.com with the lot number. We maintain records sufficient to identify every purchaser of a given lot and will act on quality issues accordingly.
